Goodnews International American School aims to nurture every student to unlock their potential through dedicated teaching, parental support and a caring school community.
Our school is committed to helping each student reach their full potential. We achieve this through small class sizes, devoted teachers, active parental involvement, and fostering a supportive school community.
Goodnews International American School (Day and Boarding) is a co-education private center in Asaba/ Okpanam equipped to give student quality education, career, guidance and knowledge of God. The school consists of Creche, Nursery, Primary, Middle and High school. The pupils of the school benefit from excellent teaching in a conducive environment. They have large access to a huge range of opportunities, designed to have them gain entrance to tertiary institutions in the United States of America.
In GIAS, children are not trained to learn by force or harshness but are directed to do it by what amuses their minds so that they may be better and able to discover with accuracy, the peculiar bent of the genius of each other, putting into cognizance that education is the most powerful weapons which can be used to change the world. The school offers an outstanding education that will stimulate and inspire students for future success. GIAS was established in the year 2014 by the Great Servant of God, due to his desire that God’s children should have quality and standard education, and good moral values for humanity.

The National Anthem
Nigeria we hail thee,
Our own dear native land,
Though tribe and tongue may differ,
In brotherhood, we stand,
Nigerians all, and proud to serve
Our sovereign Motherland.
Our flag shall be a symbol
That truth and justice reign,
In peace or battle honour’d,
And this we count as gain,
To hand on to our children
A banner without stain.
